2001 BMW M5 For Sale
This near mint low mileage California M5 is about as nice as you will find these days!
So many of these have had long hard lives...this one has had a sweet one.
Sold new in Beverly Hills California to a professional gentleman who drove
it to and from his office which was quite close to home. Always garaged, etc
and then sold to its current owner in 2006 who has continued its pamepering.
43,000 original miles since new, full service history, all manual, etc.
Never any damage or paint repair, never raced or treated poorly, the car maintains a very clean
near showroom appearance...it is very clean indeed.
This is truly a performance car, with nearly 400 horsepower in stock form!
With such a mild exterior, this is a car that surprises all who experience it.
The personalized plate "M5 Rocket" speaks it well.
The flaws on this car are very minimal, and for being 11 years old it has survived fantastically well.

Yes...you may notice there is no jack or lug wrench...well the M5 never came with one!

This car is fully loaded with the only option not ordered on this car is the rear window shade.

The Michelin Pilot tires are near new with very few miles on them.

The cargo net, the embroidered M5 logo mat, a matching hat...all in excellent condition.
Headliner is excellent as well.

Original logo floor mats are protected under plastic.
The carpet below the mats shows no wear.

6 speed manual gearbox and 400 horsepower... an amazing amount of fun to drive.
The car truly is in wonderful condition...I think it would be very difficult to find another as nice as this out there!

This model was called the fastest 4 door sedan built in 2001.
With a 0-60 time of about 4.5 seconds...it is a wild ride when pushed.
Yet as a driver it is as mild as you want to be...smooth and comfortable and easy to handle.
In closing this is a fantastic car.
A factory "hot rod" model that has been treated with amazing care and has very low mileage.
If you want one of the best E39 M5's out there...I think you just found it.
